Capoeira is a Brazilian Martial art developed by African and Native slaves in the 1700's.  It is a beautiful rhythmic and rhythm art form involving self defense, music, song, acrobatics and strategic play.  Axé Capoeira is an Internationally established Grupo with over 30 years teaching in Canada.  Training in the discipline of capoeira builds strength, rythym, balance, discipline, coordination as well as a knowledge of the traditional music, language and culture it encompasses.  Students of capoeira develop a strong sense of self within a community of friends who embrace respect, health and family as a lifestyle.  Please come visit us at any of our COMOX VALLEY locations and try a capoeira class!  Feel free to explore our website and contact us with any questions or comments.

6 - 7:30pm - Adult Capoeira 12+

Wednesday
4:45 - 6pm - Kids Capoeira ages 8+
6:30 - 7:30pm - Afro-brazillian Dance

Thursday
4:30 - 5:30pm - Minis Capoeira ages 4 - 8
6 - 7:30pm - Adv Adult Capoeira 12+
(For students with at least one belt)

Saturday
9 - 10am - Afro-Brazilian Dance
10 - 11:30am - Capoeira class and RODA (all ages, all levels) ALL STUDENTS ATTEND

ALL STUDENTS ENCOURAGED TO COME TO THIS OUTDOOR CLASS
